February Product Update
Document versioning, a new email agent, and draft templates — here's what we shipped in February.
February was our most ambitious month yet. We redesigned how documents are versioned, shipped the first version of our email agent, and introduced draft templates. Here's what changed.
Document Versioning
Every document in Skope now has full version history. When the assistant drafts or edits a document, each change is saved as a new version you can review, compare, and restore. This also powers the new preview panel, so you can see exactly what changed before accepting edits.
- •Automatic version creation on every document edit
- •Version comparison in the document preview panel
- •Full version history accessible from the library
Email Agent
The email agent lets you forward emails to Skope for automated processing. Send a batch of contracts, and Skope will analyze each attachment according to your instructions and reply with organized results — all via email.
Draft Templates
You can now save and reuse document templates for common drafting tasks. Templates capture formatting, structure, and style preferences so the assistant produces consistent output across your team.
Streaming & Infrastructure
We overhauled our streaming architecture this month, moving to a simplified event system that improves reliability and reduces latency across the assistant, Word add-in, and admin dashboard.
- •New streaming event types for faster, more reliable responses
- •Simplified streaming endpoints across all clients
- •Monorepo reorganization with shared packages for UI, hooks, and components
What's Next
In March, we're focused on a full document editor, deeper Word add-in integration with tracked changes, and continued improvements to the assistant's drafting and research capabilities.
